Free Water Bill Check
Free water bill check
A water bill that jumped with no change in use usually means a leak. Check yours in a minute.
What you get
- Your usage in gallons a day against a typical home of your size
- Whether the bill points to a leak, a running toilet or just a rate change
- What a repair typically costs locally and which rebates apply in your state
A running toilet can waste about 200 gallons a day, and a leak you cannot see often shows up on the bill before it shows up on the floor. Bills are stored privately and only used for this check. PDF, JPG or PNG, up to 10 MB.

Why is my water bill so high?
A running toilet wastes about 200 gallons a day, a dripping faucet 10 drips a minute wastes nearly 350 gallons a year, and a hidden slab or service-line leak can run all month. Check the meter with everything off: if the low-flow dial moves, water is leaving the system.
Does the utility fix a leak?
Your water utility is responsible up to the meter. Everything on the house side, including the line from the meter to the house, is the homeowner's to fix.
